This morning i woke up at 6:45am, which was not normal to me because my body clock is set between the times 9 to 11 am--i personally call the "bum body clock". Mai has this too..hers is the very very bum body clock.. she wakes up when half the day has passed and the only meals she eats are lunch and dinner. Ack! my mixed up thoughts are disrupting this post. Where was i?. OH! I felt a mix of butterflies and an unlikely urge to barf. No, i'm not pregnant. Hahaha!! I don't know, maybe i feel jitters or even a tinge of excitement because after just a few months after my graduation i'll be coming back to UP. The idea of walking through the school halls' wornout floors, reeking of cheap floor wax, gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling, a feeling of being at home--which i have to admit even if my cousins called me a traitor for not shunning my affair with my old univ UST.
I was asked by my dad to submit my cousin's UPCAT form which deadline was today. Whoa! a very very humongous task on my part.. i may have enrolled my own classes and have taken care of my requirements by myself without the parentals accompanying me but this task was on another level! It's a very very big challenge to encounter gazillions of parentals with their grown-up kids haggling with the UPCAT officials for priority treatment. It may have been 3 months ago but i was not ready to relive my old enrollment days where i had to wait in long lines, with no seats, bottled water in one hand and with my other wiping beads of sweat coming from every pore in my body. Well, i couldn't back out because, obviously, my dad counted on me to do it. I was the only bum at home with eating, sleeping, watching t.v. and surfing the net as itinerary for each waking day of my unemployed life...SO TO THOSE WHO FRIGGIN' KNOW SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A GRAPHIC ARTIST PLEASE BE AN ANGEL AND TELL ME!! I NEED SOME SAVING FROM THESE MIND-FEET-ARMS-BUTT-WHOLE BODY-NUMBING TASKS!!! AAACK!!! hahaha dad i still love you and my dear cousin olenn i love you that was why i sacrificed myself for you!!! KISSES TO YOU GUYS!!!
It wasn't all bad... Okay, here's me looking into the positive side of things...hahaha. I gained even a tidbit of experience from this, because i happened to miss my own chance to feel the fear and joy of the UPCAT for those of you who don't know. Yeah, suprising! Being a highschool whizkid and all.. haha.. I managed to finish my junior year the same year as my senior. I left my teachers confused on what batch to put me in so i missed the UPCAT because it was the earliest college entrance test. My beloved teachers figured out to put me in the senior batch when half of the school year has passed. AARRGHH!!! hahaha. I love you Mrs. De Leon and Mrs. Tamondong!!! I blame the friggin' system.. hahaha joke!! CHA ROCKS!!!
I felt independence for once in my life. This was the first time ever when i had no idea on what to do and had no one i knew to ask assistance from. All i had to rely on were God, my charming skills, and my gut. This may not be a feat in one's life, but it is to me. For a person whose first real "commuting" experience was shared with her dad for 2 weeks solid going from jeep to crossing the street at my college freshman year, this was an experience which had me written all over it. So, even if this may sound like a cheesy award acceptance speech, i say thanks first of all to God, to my dad, to my lovely cousin olenn. I dedicate this to everyone who achieved real independence. I say "kudos" to every person who accomplish things on their own how young you may be. To end, i wish each one would find their independent and empowered selves within.O diba? pang motivational speaker ang dating diba!!! hahahalove you readers... ^_^

we were at my cousin's (lai) last friday night and had a sleepover.. :)

mai--suggested that we wear our old yellowed highschool uniforms at the event.. hehe the only wacky fools who wore them were

lyna and i...
mik and
kax weren't game for it--which was too bad because we had a blast!
we had long conversations about everything under the sun including--ka****.. haha
(never mind!) we ate up 4 boxes of pizza which was majorly from mai hehe and mik's God-sent palm card.. we had 3 bottles of pepsi
(i know what you guys are thinking now--that were again becoming 6 fugly gluttons and eating like we were about to be executed tomorrow..hehe OBESITY ROCKS!!!! haha). as the night went on.. kax, mik and lyna had developed a body clock of a
lola and decided to sleep instead of cam-whoring with the rest of us!

#1 My Date with Drew
My sister
lyna, my cousin mai and i watched a docu
film last tuesday.. It was a about an average guy going after a far fetched
dream of having a date with drew.. no not drew lachey.. but drew---DREW
BARRYMORE.. It was so far fetched because they have more than "6 degrees of
separation" (meaning that there are six or more people that the guy knew that
knew Drew personally).. The guy was basically relying on contacts of a friend,
of a friend, of a friend, of a friend. When i saw the earlier shots.. I thought
it was just another B-movie that the American viewers gobbled up and to think it
was shown in Star Movies (the home of the films you never knew existed.. e.g.
Odd Girl Out, Soul Plane and many more). It was hilarious and heartwarming
all at the same time. The whole plot was basically about a guy named Brian who
has been of Drew Barrymore since her E.T. days. He had a goal of being able to
land a date with Drew within 30 days with a budget of 1,100 bucks.. and with a zilch
of contact with her. You'll see him beg, fake his way in the Charlie's Angels
Full Throttle premiere, lose weight, get rejected and then again get rejected... It
both entertaining and exciting. And to think I was only watching this as I
was waiting for another show on another channel... (hehe I totally forgot that
show.. because of this very affecting film..). While your at it, check out
the trailer too... :)

end of June. Ack! Lyna and I will be home alone!!! Oh, Shucks! Wimbledon's already near..
and I think they'll be able to watch it.. (for those of you guys who know where
the heck is wimbledon in UK's map tell me please.. so i know if my parentals are
near there..) Argh!! I envy them...

Whoa.. its June 12. For all you "patriots" and fellow Filipinos out there, I'm pretty sure you
know what this day is all about. It's the glorious
"independence day".
We've
been marking our calendars on this date ever since I was a kid.
Not for our
being very patriotic but because this day marks the highlight of our pig-like
lifestyle...
At this date we come to Tito Henie's (my dad's friend) for a grand
parade of gastronomical delights. A grandiose "name-it-they-have-it-like"
buffet welcomed us there from a
couple of dishes like humongous spicy crabs (which were as big as my
youngest sister-joy's-whole hand.. which is kinda big by the way..hehe),
delectable mussels, uber tender beef that surely melts in your mouth to
scrumptious desserts.
It was a fantasy feast
for all the food hogs out there. I ate like it was last
meal on earth... Too bad some
of our fellow "regulars", a couple of relatives and friends, weren't able
to take part of this heavenly yet almost sinful tradition.
I remember we used to go there in a group of ten
to fifteen people. One by one each "member" pretty much saw the light and
decided not to come... until there were 6 of us left.
SIX "surviving" faithful gluttons enjoying
every bite from our heaping plate.
A couple of us went straight to the loo and made
number two.. while one of us--specifically my dad-- had a major spasm.. hahahaha..
We were six guilty pigs with pants
unbuttoned.. burping excessively and farting loudly and proudly too (an
aftermath of the earthquake we caused in the toilet..hahaha). It was a good thing we were able
to sweat out some of those fattening stuff, when we strolled around glorietta.
We bought a pair of shoes for my sister,
joy
(her classes will start this coming wednesday..ehehe).
Aren't they cute?
They remind me of a chic-er school girl look.. i miss wearing mary janes..
all i use are flip-flops and sneakers.. (U.P. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME??) hehe everyone's pretty much asleep now.. and I
think "mentally" marking this date for next year at tito henie's.. haha

1. Falling in love.(how would i know? I'm a guilty NBSB-"no boyfriend since birth". well, come to think of it puppy love counts.. hehe.. eeew! no thank you! my old playmate was the worst ever..)
2. Laughing till your stomach hurts.
(yeah, most of all when you almost pee on your pants.. haha.. those where the days..)
3. Enjoying a ride down the country side.
(whoahoo.. heaven.. drive to tagaytay at june or december.. even to calabarzon at dawn. nice..)

***ET today showed charlie manson (?) a cult leader who was behind the murder of some so-called "pigs" including a retro starlet named sharon tate. it was creepy seeing the true face behind the twisted movie, "Helter Skelter", which was on HBO..

***a bunch of the guys from the DTL show 5 takes.. suck their fears in and made a 440-feet jump at new zealand's bungee jump activity.. it was friggin' crazy.. even if i was just a mere viewer i felt all the hairs in my body stick out.. my stomach flop.. and my knees go weak. i maybe overreacting but for first timers like them.. a 440-feet jump isn't advised! MAN IT REALLY WAS CRAZY! if i was there i'd do it.. i'd think twice first.. but i'll do it.. for sure.. for sure.. i love gabe by the way next to jamie oliver of course hahaha! (writer totally smitten!)

i had a quite dragging day today.. the same routine wake-up, watch tv, eat, then watch tv... i can't believe i was watching anything that was on.. from the 500-pound-weight-losing man on oprah to the super retro flick "footloose" (which was quite entertaining anyway). good thing some of my cousins came to the house. we cooked some "oily" french fries which was quite entertaining.. had two bottles of pop, and some bags of chips (which are justifiably small because they were on one serving size packets.. hehe). mai, my other cuz, together with bim went also... and gave me a quite entertaining task of designing some logos for her soon to be opened preschool. get this the name of her school is "LITTLE EXPLORERS" which adorably fitting.. anyway for those of you guys who have kids or know some kids who are interested in attending a play-and-learn type preschool come to sun valley drive you'll find my cousin's daycare there.. (wow nag-promote!)

just came home from an uber fun trip at playa calatagan (the next generation beach community.. hehe i-promote ba daw?!). on our way there i was so worried about the entrance fees that my sis, lyna, and i will be paying. lai said it would be about 350 bucks each. it wasn't that much.. but hey for monetary-challenged people like us---especially at this crucial bankrupt stage called "summer break" wherein traditionally the parentals stop giving allowance to their offsprings--- it is one big heck of a deal!!! i super thank God.. as in to the nth degree! He has made everything a FREE-day! my whole day's motto was "the best things in life are free" -- and surely most people's too! when we were about to leave our village.. our beloved tito chac bought us free chips--as in anything you want you can get! then, after a few long hours of travel.. he also treated us with two bagfuls of sweet corn fresh from the lovely vendors of tagaytay (who desperately tried to pull us over among the sea of sweet corn stands there so that we'd buy from hers) . and it doesn't stop there he even bought us two family size stuffed edge pizzas from BUNS and PIZZA plus two bottles of coke!
after that free food galore stopovers, we arrived--finally--at the event venue and guess what? yup you guys are right! we got in for FREE. the whole event was for FREE-- from the henna tattoos, glitter skin art, bead bracelets and necklace making, massage (which i wasn't able to take advantage of due to monthly womanly reasons), kayaking (which i didn't avail.. i'd get my nappies soaked if i did!), and many many more! we took advantage of some of them.. we made guzillion beaded accesories.. i had my glitter art done in my arm (which looked like three wilted stars on my left arm.. kaya pala free.. hehe).
the festivities were ruined by the weather. the heavy rain went on for hours (i don't know if this was an exaggeration because it felt like we were forever stranded in our tent--shared with other ten people while the other ten who were in the other tent across smoked endlessly like "tambuchos"). at least my other cousins (lai, mik and nicole) were able to make some fun out of it by swimming in the beach. tito chac who was at the pavillion enjoyed free flowing food. the rest of us, kuya alvin, joy and me, were left in the tent a bit soaked and waiting for the weather to settle. after grueling moments of waiting we were called in for dinner catered by the heavenly via mare! there were free flowing food (oh i won't forget the nachos! mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm! free ice cream! all this left me still salivating..), and drinks (that margarita left me with a headache!). the entertainment was superb.. the EBC who i call "Capoeira Cuties" are both delish and exceptional (watch for me guys at ateneo--hehe as if..)! they sang acapella to the tune of latin chants while the planet zip (i call them.. the ZIPPERS..haha) performed their graceful act with fire! bartenders were doing--what else?-- bartending tricks.. (one bartender was winking at the audience dahil di siya bumebenta..haha).
the place was so beautiful.. infinity pools bubbling jacuzzis in cabanas.. water fountains ..
discounting the awful weather, everything was lush and tranquil. it was a true unforgettable getaway. i can't wait till 2009 when the whole facilities will be finally complete.. this place is a sure enough regular getaway for us cousins.
lai can't wait till we come back!!!! ^_^

still unemployed..
nearing 21...
still unemployed..
first day of june...
still unemployed...
the nearest to work that i had experienced was this transaction my sister (THANK GOD!) gave me.. earned 11,500 php's --OH! forgot the f*cking tax.. of 12%.. so i'm left with 10,000+...
i believe that will get the parentals off my back for a month.. their very SUBTLE hints of me going to work is now rubbing in... ack!
i couldn't imagine myself having an 8-5 job.. i see some of my friends who have the fun sucked out of them.. they become boring robots controlled by the work they do..
well, what choice does a monetary-challenged individual have?
i promise myself that i wouldn't compromise my joy for some money that would cause me stressful grooling hours of work... i'll enjoy and savor every moment and experience i'll have in that "corporate world" and for that i won't choose a "robot-like" atmosphere.. (my idealistic self is wishing for a light and laidback workplace--full of rainbows and flowers--- hala! acid trippin' ata to?!)
note to self: i'll work and still have fun!!! by hook or by crook!!!

we were at my cousin's (lai) last friday night and had a sleepover.. :)
one of my cousins--
mai--suggested that we wear our old yellowed highschool uniforms at the event.. hehe the only wacky fools who wore them were
lai, mai, my sis
lyna and i...
mik and
kax weren't game for it--which was too bad because we had a blast!
we had long conversations about everything under the sun including--ka****.. haha
(never mind!) we ate up 4 boxes of pizza which was majorly from mai hehe and mik's God-sent palm card.. we had 3 bottles of pepsi
(i know what you guys are thinking now--that were again becoming 6 fugly gluttons and eating like we were about to be executed tomorrow..hehe OBESITY ROCKS!!!! haha). as the night went on.. kax, mik and lyna had developed a body clock of a
lola and decided to sleep instead of cam-whoring with the rest of us!
it was fun-tabulous!!

#1 My Date with Drew
My sister
lyna, my cousin mai and i watched a docu
film last tuesday.. It was a about an average guy going after a far fetched
dream of having a date with drew.. no not drew lachey.. but drew---DREW
BARRYMORE.. It was so far fetched because they have more than "6 degrees of
separation" (meaning that there are six or more people that the guy knew that
knew Drew personally).. The guy was basically relying on contacts of a friend,
of a friend, of a friend, of a friend. When i saw the earlier shots.. I thought
it was just another B-movie that the American viewers gobbled up and to think it
was shown in Star Movies (the home of the films you never knew existed.. e.g.
Odd Girl Out, Soul Plane and many more). It was hilarious and heartwarming
all at the same time. The whole plot was basically about a guy named Brian who
has been of Drew Barrymore since her E.T. days. He had a goal of being able to
land a date with Drew within 30 days with a budget of 1,100 bucks.. and with a zilch
of contact with her. You'll see him beg, fake his way in the Charlie's Angels
Full Throttle premiere, lose weight, get rejected and then again get rejected... It
both entertaining and exciting. And to think I was only watching this as I
was waiting for another show on another channel... (hehe I totally forgot that
show.. because of this very affecting film..). While your at it, check out
the trailer too... :)

My parentals got their Visas just this afternoon. They'll be leaving for UK this
end of June. Ack! Lyna and I will be home alone!!! Oh, Shucks! Wimbledon's already near..
and I think they'll be able to watch it.. (for those of you guys who know where
the heck is wimbledon in UK's map tell me please.. so i know if my parentals are
near there..) Argh!! I envy them...

Whoa.. its June 12. For all you "patriots" and fellow Filipinos out there, I'm pretty sure you
know what this day is all about. It's the glorious
"independence day".
We've
been marking our calendars on this date ever since I was a kid.
Not for our
being very patriotic but because this day marks the highlight of our pig-like
lifestyle...
At this date we come to Tito Henie's (my dad's friend) for a grand
parade of gastronomical delights. A grandiose "name-it-they-have-it-like"
buffet welcomed us there from a
couple of dishes like humongous spicy crabs (which were as big as my
youngest sister-joy's-whole hand.. which is kinda big by the way..hehe),
delectable mussels, uber tender beef that surely melts in your mouth to
scrumptious desserts.
It was a fantasy feast
for all the food hogs out there. I ate like it was last
meal on earth... Too bad some
of our fellow "regulars", a couple of relatives and friends, weren't able
to take part of this heavenly yet almost sinful tradition.
I remember we used to go there in a group of ten
to fifteen people. One by one each "member" pretty much saw the light and
decided not to come... until there were 6 of us left.
SIX "surviving" faithful gluttons enjoying
every bite from our heaping plate.
A couple of us went straight to the loo and made
number two.. while one of us--specifically my dad-- had a major spasm.. hahahaha..
We were six guilty pigs with pants
unbuttoned.. burping excessively and farting loudly and proudly too (an
aftermath of the earthquake we caused in the toilet..hahaha). It was a good thing we were able
to sweat out some of those fattening stuff, when we strolled around glorietta.
We bought a pair of shoes for my sister,
joy
(her classes will start this coming wednesday..ehehe).
Aren't they cute?
They remind me of a chic-er school girl look.. i miss wearing mary janes..
all i use are flip-flops and sneakers.. (U.P. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME??) hehe everyone's pretty much asleep now.. and I
think "mentally" marking this date for next year at tito henie's.. haha

it was quite entertaining..

The Best Moments In Life
1. Falling in love.(how would i know? I'm a guilty NBSB-"no boyfriend since birth". well, come to think of it puppy love counts.. hehe.. eeew! no thank you! my old playmate was the worst ever..)
2. Laughing till your stomach hurts.
(yeah, most of all when you almost pee on your pants.. haha.. those where the days..)
3. Enjoying a ride down the country side.
(whoahoo.. heaven.. drive to tagaytay at june or december.. even to calabarzon at dawn. nice..)
4. Listening to your favorite song on the radio.
(while belting out the lyrics like you're like an ultra-fabuloso rockstar..yeah)
5. Going to sleep listening to the rain pouring outside.
(yes what a feeling.. did that a while ago..)
6. Getting out of the shower and wrapping yourself with a warm, fuzzy towel.
7. Passing your final exams with good grades.
(especially when you have a terror professor..)
8. Being a part of an interesting conversation.
(lalo na when you're with your friends whom you haven't seen in a long time.. which reminds me gayle and seph we need an ultimate female bonding..)
9. Finding some money in some old pants.
(a miracle.. because i'm such an impulsive spender..)
10. Laughing at yourself.
(i beg to disagree.. i'd rather laugh at others.. haha i'm on evil mode by the way)
11. Sharing a wonderful dinner with all your friends.
(by the way.. to all my church friends.. dianne's back in manila.. we have lots of catching up to do!)
12. Laughing without a reason.
(would look weird if you do it alone in a public transportation system.. but fun anyway..)

***a bunch of the guys from the DTL show 5 takes.. suck their fears in and made a 440-feet jump at new zealand's bungee jump activity.. it was friggin' crazy.. even if i was just a mere viewer i felt all the hairs in my body stick out.. my stomach flop.. and my knees go weak. i maybe overreacting but for first timers like them.. a 440-feet jump isn't advised! MAN IT REALLY WAS CRAZY! if i was there i'd do it.. i'd think twice first.. but i'll do it.. for sure.. for sure.. i love gabe by the way next to jamie oliver of course hahaha! (writer totally smitten!)

i had a quite dragging day today.. the same routine wake-up, watch tv, eat, then watch tv... i can't believe i was watching anything that was on.. from the 500-pound-weight-losing man on oprah to the super retro flick "footloose" (which was quite entertaining anyway). good thing some of my cousins came to the house. we cooked some "oily" french fries which was quite entertaining.. had two bottles of pop, and some bags of chips (which are justifiably small because they were on one serving size packets.. hehe). mai, my other cuz, together with bim went also... and gave me a quite entertaining task of designing some logos for her soon to be opened preschool. get this the name of her school is "LITTLE EXPLORERS" which adorably fitting.. anyway for those of you guys who have kids or know some kids who are interested in attending a play-and-learn type preschool come to sun valley drive you'll find my cousin's daycare there.. (wow nag-promote!)

sabato, giugno 03, 2006FREE-day GALORE!!!!!!!!
just came home from an uber fun trip at playa calatagan (the next generation beach community.. hehe i-promote ba daw?!). on our way there i was so worried about the entrance fees that my sis, lyna, and i will be paying. lai said it would be about 350 bucks each. it wasn't that much.. but hey for monetary-challenged people like us---especially at this crucial bankrupt stage called "summer break" wherein traditionally the parentals stop giving allowance to their offsprings--- it is one big heck of a deal!!! i super thank God.. as in to the nth degree! He has made everything a FREE-day! my whole day's motto was "the best things in life are free" -- and surely most people's too! when we were about to leave our village.. our beloved tito chac bought us free chips--as in anything you want you can get! then, after a few long hours of travel.. he also treated us with two bagfuls of sweet corn fresh from the lovely vendors of tagaytay (who desperately tried to pull us over among the sea of sweet corn stands there so that we'd buy from hers) . and it doesn't stop there he even bought us two family size stuffed edge pizzas from BUNS and PIZZA plus two bottles of coke!
after that free food galore stopovers, we arrived--finally--at the event venue and guess what? yup you guys are right! we got in for FREE. the whole event was for FREE-- from the henna tattoos, glitter skin art, bead bracelets and necklace making, massage (which i wasn't able to take advantage of due to monthly womanly reasons), kayaking (which i didn't avail.. i'd get my nappies soaked if i did!), and many many more! we took advantage of some of them.. we made guzillion beaded accesories.. i had my glitter art done in my arm (which looked like three wilted stars on my left arm.. kaya pala free.. hehe).
the festivities were ruined by the weather. the heavy rain went on for hours (i don't know if this was an exaggeration because it felt like we were forever stranded in our tent--shared with other ten people while the other ten who were in the other tent across smoked endlessly like "tambuchos"). at least my other cousins (lai, mik and nicole) were able to make some fun out of it by swimming in the beach. tito chac who was at the pavillion enjoyed free flowing food. the rest of us, kuya alvin, joy and me, were left in the tent a bit soaked and waiting for the weather to settle. after grueling moments of waiting we were called in for dinner catered by the heavenly via mare! there were free flowing food (oh i won't forget the nachos! mmm mmm mmm mmm mmm! free ice cream! all this left me still salivating..), and drinks (that margarita left me with a headache!). the entertainment was superb.. the EBC who i call "Capoeira Cuties" are both delish and exceptional (watch for me guys at ateneo--hehe as if..)! they sang acapella to the tune of latin chants while the planet zip (i call them.. the ZIPPERS..haha) performed their graceful act with fire! bartenders were doing--what else?-- bartending tricks.. (one bartender was winking at the audience dahil di siya bumebenta..haha).
the place was so beautiful.. infinity pools bubbling jacuzzis in cabanas.. water fountains ..
discounting the awful weather, everything was lush and tranquil. it was a true unforgettable getaway. i can't wait till 2009 when the whole facilities will be finally complete.. this place is a sure enough regular getaway for us cousins.
lai can't wait till we come back!!!! ^_^

still unemployed..
nearing 21...
still unemployed..
first day of june...
still unemployed...
the nearest to work that i had experienced was this transaction my sister (THANK GOD!) gave me.. earned 11,500 php's --OH! forgot the f*cking tax.. of 12%.. so i'm left with 10,000+...
i believe that will get the parentals off my back for a month.. their very SUBTLE hints of me going to work is now rubbing in... ack!
i couldn't imagine myself having an 8-5 job.. i see some of my friends who have the fun sucked out of them.. they become boring robots controlled by the work they do..
well, what choice does a monetary-challenged individual have?
i promise myself that i wouldn't compromise my joy for some money that would cause me stressful grooling hours of work... i'll enjoy and savor every moment and experience i'll have in that "corporate world" and for that i won't choose a "robot-like" atmosphere.. (my idealistic self is wishing for a light and laidback workplace--full of rainbows and flowers--- hala! acid trippin' ata to?!)
note to self: i'll work and still have fun!!! by hook or by crook!!!
