i haven't felt this excited since i dunno.. i was at the edge of my seat, held tightly onto my poor pillow, and pounded it like crazy. i felt so nerve-racked that i yelled and groaned and moaned on every stroke my rooted player did. i was bitten by the "wimbledon bug".. crap!!! i was never an enthusiast and never was a fanatic for tennis. i was caught up with this fever since last month's roland garros tournament and i haven't stopped watching since. i was like a maniac waiting for every singles' match there was and developed loyalties to players i least expected.
like amelie mauresmo who i thought looked like a total dyke (which was what i mentioned in my previous post), 
i couldn't believe i would be rooting for her and be yelling my heart out--oh! i'd say i was grunting because my baby sis was sleeping at those wee hours. i wouldn't want to be scolded for disturbing her precious sleep. at our house, she's the law!!! (haha..) i was ecstatic when she won the ladies' finals!!!
i also slept late last night watching the men's finals. i was totally raving like mad at roger federer's fourth victory!! too bad, i wasn't able to share my utmost joy with my baby sis who was sleeping so peacefully. i've got to quote my cousin, lai, on nadal and federer's "awww" moment.. "by far one of the best parts of the finals was when roger and rafa walked around the court in opposite directions posing for the audience and when they crossed paths, they gave each other 'low-fives'."
it's hard for me to admit that i have developed a love for marcos baghdatis. even if i was totally apalled by his sort-of-goon-like looks, i was won over by his charismatic and comedic antics while playing.. >sigh< 
it's love!!! true love!!! L-O-V-E!!!
