realizations:
1. gin + coke + pizza + chicha= heartburn...
to think i had to ice my chest just to relieve the pain...
(tsk!tsk! never again will i attempt to do that...never again)
2. a lot of people are not into "committed" relationships..hehe
(but i guess i'm the only one i know who's scared of it like hell!!)
and that we all choose to be single and live a happy commitment-free life!!!
3a.tok and yie are "HABULIN" pala...
of large cottonballs that is! hahaha... still getting those childhood nightmares, ey?
3b. lai is psychotically happy in killing people and we're her psychotic fans...
seriously, i'm happy you got rid of that shmuck / jerk-o / assh*le / bloody bugger!
4. never underestimate the power of gab...
we stayed up till 3 a.m... talking just about anything... at marami-rami akong na-discover sa mga berxsins ko..
5. nothing beats boinky's sleeping power..
boinks grabe ka! you had the guts to sleep in the middle of the street (literally, as in lying on a mat placed in the rough and dirty premises of Venice Street...) pangalawa na toh! before you slept on a sack at the garage and planned on staying there-- bilib talaga ako!
6.being aggressive is a choice...
knowing my cousin, mik, for the longest time... believe me she isn't that assertive around the guy that she likes..but at that gabbing session i've discovered a different side of her... she was able bluntly to say to that guy's face that she crushes on him.. o diba? tapang ng lola? (why? nothing to lose namin e!) ma-try nga? why not!?!
7.i've discovered that kax and i are compatibly green...
give a shout out to my fellow whore-net and breast-friend kax!!! we really think alike...
****can't wait for another bonding / whappakan / buhay-baboy sessions..****
p.s.
i miss my little big sis... 'te patty ingat ka dyan sa leyte.. (baka habulin ka ni McArthur..nye!)

it was fabulous! the invitation was in form of bangles...(ang ganda talaga--kaya my friend, tin, who brought me there had a headache from my asking too much kung san nabili..well, sa divi raw).. then, we were given trendy bindis to wear.. o diba?
we entered through some pretty shingles made of "gold". the place was totally panjabi heaven! well, i give credit to those who decorated the place... hehe i also applaud myself and tin for doing a swell job creating wonderful paintings for the event (magtaas tayo ng sariling bangko!!)
the food was great too! here's what we had:appetizer- mystique of nirvana (creamy squash soup sprinkled with spices..tasted kinda funky but i loved it!!)
entree- rama's delight (grilled chicken with variations of flavorings served with a garlic dip..i made mine extra spicy!!)
side dish- journey to exile (curried button mushrooms)
cereal- treasure of kosala (Indian rice dish)
dessert- teardrops of sita (pudding in carrot and milk mixture..this reminded me of babyfood+ caramel..sarap!!
beverage- ravana's fortune (refreshing tea made from spices.. it tasted like cinnamon..yumyum!!)
diba? todo build-up..hehe. they made my thursday lunch an unforgettable experience..congrats!
i'll definitely do this again..
note: guys, i really recommend these HRIM functions.. they've got fantastic soon-to-be cooking prodigies..that are yet to be discovered!!

this event made me wonder. even after so many years, the indians are able to preserve the richness of their culture. and that from the upper class to the masses, they keep their culture alive. their being proud of who they are resonates upto this day from their music to how they dress and how they think. they have this solid identity that couldn't be breeched.
don't get me wrong. i love our country. but as filipinos, i think we lack in the way of showing it. on what's happening today, some people want to remove their being totally filipino by trying to imitate the western culture. we emulate the west so much that we forget to embrace who we truly are and what are cultural identity is. i know i'm guilty.. and i'm willing to change that..i guess the philippines has the same authenticity as that of the indians.. so i'm not closing myself from knowing about our rich culture in the future..so WOW PHILIPPINES!!! (o diba plugging?)
ey, i'm damn serious about this!
